About Us

The Greens is an Independent School supporting pupils who are identified as needing specialist assessments and individual, intensive, bespoke learning.

All of our pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan. Our principal aim is to prepare pupils for happy and fulfilled lives by identifying and adapting to individual learning styles and putting interventions into place which will allow each child to fully access their learning and achieve their most positive outcomes.

The Greens has the capacity to work with up to 20 pupils at one time.

By providing high quality teaching and learning to those pupils who need specialist interventions, pupils move forward better equipped to learn and succeed in education.

For pupils who have an Education Health and Care Plan and need additional support, we assist schools, parents and carers with additional support in providing transfer to a specialist provision as soon as possible.

Our dedicated staff team are made up of education, care and safeguarding professionals with a wealth of experience in these sectors.

Our Mission Statement

At The Greens, we don’t believe in ‘one size fits all’ education. Our mission is to equip every student, regardless of learning style or individual need, with the academic and personal skills they need to fulfil their full potential, and succeed in being a positive contributor to our community.

All our staff and partners at The Greens feel passionately that every pupil is entitled to an aspirational and nurturing learning environment. We strive to remove the barriers and limitations often placed on pupils – particularly those with special educational needs.

We strive to deliver a positive learning experience in an enjoyable environment where creativity and individualism is celebrated.

The Greens promotes a caring family atmosphere for all pupils, staff and parents. We have an open-door policy for parents and professionals and welcome visitors as part of our Greens family. Please contact us if you would like to visit us and see our school.

All our staff have a shared belief in our pupils. Our philosophy is founded on the desire to make a positive difference to our pupils and their families.

Overall, our mission is to ensure our pupils get every opportunity to achieve their full potential in life irrespective of any difficulties.

Our promise to every pupil is that we will do everything in our power to help them flourish by encouraging and building upon their unique strengths and interest.
